QCOQ integrates with Apple's Find My network out of the box — no extra app needed on iPhone. Here's the complete setup, timed.
Before you start
- iPhone running iOS 14.5 or later
- Bluetooth enabled
- Signed into iCloud
- Find My enabled (Settings → [Your Name] → Find My → Find My iPhone → On)
The 60-second setup
- 0:00 — Pull the battery tab. Your QCOQ arrives with the battery installed but disconnected. Pull the plastic tab to activate.
- 0:05 — Open Find My on your iPhone. Tap the "Items" tab at the bottom.
- 0:10 — Tap "+ Add Item" → "Other Item". Hold your QCOQ close to your phone.
- 0:20 — Your iPhone detects it. A popup appears with a "Connect" button. Tap it.
- 0:30 — Name your tracker. "Keys," "Wallet," "Dog Collar," whatever.
- 0:45 — Pick an emoji. For quick visual identification on the map.
- 0:55 — Done. Your QCOQ is now in Find My. Location updates automatically.
Troubleshooting
"Couldn't connect"? Press the QCOQ button twice quickly to force pairing mode.
Location not updating? The first location may take 10-15 minutes to register. Move the tracker around or leave your house briefly.
Don't see the "+ Add Item" option? Update to iOS 14.5 or later.
